courier-filter-perl software package provides purely Perl-based mail filter framework for the Courier MTA, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install courier-filter-perl
courier-filter-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the courier-filter-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep courier-filter-perl *
You will get with courier-filter-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
